BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Guangdong Verbund site project would be BASF’s largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completion and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. The site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, and will be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologies and applying the highest safety standards.
Talent Acquisition (TA) is key for the company’s sustainable business growth and organizational development. We are looking for a passionate HR professional who builds-up and leads a team of in-house recruiters to fulfil the immediate and long-term talent acquisition needs of the new company in Zhanjiang(BIG).
•； Consult BIG hiring managers on all recruitment related matters.
•； Develop and implement recruiting strategies in a pragmatic way.
•； Drive channel ion, development and management effectively to achieve hiring target.
•； Design & launch Marketing & Branding campaigns for key target groups in collaboration with COM to attract the best-fit talents and establish a robust candidate pipeline.
•； Setup and develop a team of in-house recruiters to provide end-to-end recruiting consulting and services.
•； Explore and implement an efficient process, including digitalization initiatives.
•； Build and foster positive relationships across the team and the organization.
•； Bachelor degree as minimum requirement. Master degree is a plus
•； At least 8-10 years solid recruitment experience gaining MNC and/or recruitment agency, experience in chemical industry or manufacturing industry is preferred
•； Experience with culturally diverse environment, matrix organization and different stakeholders at all levels
•； Having experience with leading an HR operation
•； Having HR leadership experience, pref. as HRBP / recruiting team lead
•； Be capable to consult business units for customized talent acquisition solutions
•； Entrepreneurial drive, pragmatic, result driven, people & team mind-set, passionate
•； Fluent in English and Mandarin
